Our team is a diverse group of professionals, social practitioners, researchers, volunteers, and community leaders who share a common commitment to equity, dignity, and sustainable development.
Each member of our team contributes unique skills, perspectives, and lived experiences, enabling us to design thoughtful, inclusive, and impactful programs.
President
A practicing educational leader with over 23 years of experience, Yashvendra is deeply committed to strengthening the public education system in India to ensure equity, inclusion, justice, freedom, and equality for all. His work spans diverse geographies, where he has supported public institutions in interpreting education policies for children aged 3–14. His expertise includes strategy design, curriculum and resource development, teacher training, institutional reform, and emergency response planning (including during COVID-19). Passionate about mobilizing and motivating all stakeholders, he envisions an education system that nurtures every child’s holistic growth in a safe and enabling environment. A post graduate in Education and reputed member of Board of Department of Education, Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training.
Vice-President
With nearly two decades of experience in the education sector, Shaleen specializes in curriculum development, teacher professional development, mathematics instruction, assessments, and institutional capacity building. His work across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Delhi has focused on strengthening teaching- learning processes and building collaborations with government systems.
Shaleen has led large-scale education programs, designed contextualized curriculum, created outcome-aligned materials, and supported educators through mentoring and training. Armed with a Master’s in Mathematics, he also brings strong expertise in data-driven program design, monitoring, and evaluation, along with a proven ability to deliver impactful research, reports, and presentations. He is one of the reputed members of Board of Department of Education, Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training
Secretary
With 42+ years of service in the Indian Air Force, Vrijendra embodies discipline, leadership, and a deep concern for society. Beyond his expertise in aeronautical engineering and training, his passion is focused on inspiring youth towards service, supporting veterans, and addressing developmental challenges in the hills of Uttarakhand. His experience in mentoring large teams blends with his commitment to nurturing responsibility, resilience, and patriotism among young people. For the foundation, he represents a balance of structure and compassion, guiding efforts that bring lasting social impact.
Treasurer
Sneh is an emerging professional with a strong commitment to social engagement and community development. She brings youthful energy, dedication, and a socially conscious outlook to the foundation’s financial stewardship and outreach. She bridges the generation gap in the team and hence brings current and practical issues related to youth and girls. Her core concerns also include environmental degradation and cruelty against animals. With her energy, empathy, and socially conscious outlook, she strengthens the foundation’s mission of fostering inclusion, compassion, and sustainable community development.
Member & Advisor
With over 42 years of diverse professional experience, Mukul has worked across both corporate and development sectors. His career includes leadership roles in Indian Hotels Company and DLF Limited, as well as impactful contributions to education through Azim Premji Foundation, ATI, CHIRAG, and Piramal Foundation. A lifelong learner, music enthusiast, and nature lover, Mukul connects easily with young people and teams, fostering a culture of passion, excellence, and change. His presence in the foundation is not only advisory but also inspirational—a reminder of the values of compassion, equity, and collective growth.
Member & Advisor
A postgraduate in History with experience as a faculty member, counsellor, and career advisor, Kaushiki has consistently challenged inequitable practices in education. She believes strongly that children should not be reduced to marks or labels, but supported to discover their strengths and potential. Her passion for guiding youth, especially those from marginalized communities, reflects her deep commitment to equality and justice. For the foundation, she brings both academic insight and a compassionate voice that keeps the focus on fairness, inclusion, and dignity in education.
Member & Advisor
An environmentalist and social activist, Gajendra has been working actively in Uttarakhand for over 15 years. He has been a frontline contributor during natural calamities and continues to work with marginalized communities, especially children. His efforts have empowered young girls to step forward as community leaders and volunteers. Gajendra’s commitment to social change and grassroots engagement adds immense strength to the foundation’s mission.
